what does a clogged catylic converter sound like??

cuz we have a 95 3.4 at work that my sister might wanna buy cuz i can get her a good deal on it (like dirt cheap)

Whenever mine clogged I just lost power. Other signs that I know of concerning a clogged CC is: the rotten egg smell and after driving the car for awhile the converter "glows" from the heat build up. I guess if the catalysist (I think that is what it is called) starts to break up, but is still to big to blow through the exhaust it would rattle.

i think its cuz the one mechanic pulled the 02 sensors out

A guy I used to know had an '83 Camaro 2.8... he asked me once to go for a ride and see what's up with his car. It had no power at all... he'd floor it, and it'd just buzz along like his foot wasn't on the gas. Turned out that yep, it was a clogged cat.
