i have a 91 RS SC w/ 3.1 v6

i need a new thermostat

whats a good high performance or good overall kind to get

and im on a budget here too
so if U know if i can get it at Trash Auto or Auto Zone lemme know ok?

 

there is a 180* u can get or a 160*

the stock in the car is 195*

either will work

if u use 160 ur gonna lose ur heater performance...

dont expect gains in 1/4 mile with the thermostat... its not gonna be a performance part....its more a part that makes ur engine run cooler and make it last longer...thats all

its about 5-7 bucks ... the most expensive is hypertech / Mr gasket thermostats

hypertech 160 = 12 bucks
MR gasket 180= 8 bucks
