tune up help

hey everybody thanks to my good friend xeno drgn's help i have decided my idling problem may just be fixed with a good tune up because it sounds as if it is just misfiring that bad. . . whether it works or not we have to wait and see but anyway since i am dense and know nothing about cars would somebody please kinda just give me a complete tune-up checklist or walkthrough. . . i know the very basics such as plugs wires and distributor but that is about all so if anybody could help that would be great thank you all

Do a search. TomP has an excellent tune-up guide post.

When you search, make sure you choose the V6 forum and not "all open forums", and search for "major tuneup" (without the quotes). If you want, put TomP in as the name of the poster.
