all about performance rims... (dimensions)

Hello,

I really need some help here, I am doing a 502 swap, transmission swap (auto to manual) AND ETC... I bought a new 12 bolt moser rear end with stock dimensions of 91 transam GTA. I will buy an enkei lightweight rim but I have no idea about offsets, backspacings, etc. I am thinking of buying these: http://enkei.com/RacingSeriesSpecs/RPM2.html

Can you just tell me the right dimensions? I came to US just to buy parts to my car and I am running out of time. Thank you for your help...

I have 12.2" wilwood disc brakes at front and rear...,

I will use nitto nt1 slicks on these rims and I want to keep the rear tire width size as big as possible. On tracks I will use enkei's, on street I will use orginal gta rims and diffrent type of tires. I just wanted to let you guys know

that chart should be helpful and also what are u planning on doing with the car cause Nitto NT01 are not drag radials they are for like autox and such they have a stiff sidewall for cornering and are not the best for say street strip drag racing. for that if u wanted to stick with Nittos ud want the NT555R tires...

Re: all about performance rims... (dimensions)

thank you for the great information, I wont use the car as a drag race car, I will use it on circuits. Time trials mostly... I will corner the car shortly

Would you be suggesting any other tires than nitto if we consider that I will be participating in time trials...??

,
"The stock third generation '82-'92 Camaro wheel wells will fit 17"x9.5" rims with a 10mm offset (positive) with P275-40ZR17 in all four corners. "

this means that if I buy a 17"x9" rims with 75 bore diameter, these rims will fit and I will be able to use 265-45-17 or similar values tires can be installed on those rims correct??

What about the bolt patern of standart 91 transam rear end I mean the one that I bought from moser... with 33" axles,

Will the calipers and rims be in good positions (I am talking about ET's)

I will be glad if somebody answers my questions, I am really looking for a solution.

Thank you all; especially gotta355z28

Just an FYI, while those first Enkei wheels you posted look good they won't fit a thirdgen. They're set up for a much smaller bolt circle; like a subaru legacy or honda 5 lug setup. A buddy of mine had those on his legacy and they did look very nice. The bolt circle you're going to be looking for is 5x120.6 I thihk. BMW wheels have been known to use a 5x120 and there are a few guys on here using them. You'll probably find nicer looking wheels if you include BMW wheels. (aside from fully custom wheels)

Re: all about performance rims... (dimensions)

There are some enkeis that has the bolt pattern of 5x120... here are the specs:
Offset: 38mm
Backspacing: 5.94" Bolt Pattern: 5-120
Rec. Tire Size: 215/45-17
Weight: 17.9lb

Is there any body that exactly know what is the 91 firebird's bolt pattern?

I just found these rims, these have different backspacing than enkeis

I am looking to the instruction sheet of rear 12.2" wilwood brake kit and it says it has an offset of 2.50 for the rotors...

Can just somebody help me I need to but the rims in a few days...

Thank you for your future help...
