New Wheels and Seats

I'm finally getting around to modding/restoring my 92 Z28. I bought the car back in 2005. Since then I've just been tinkering around with it to get it to run right. The car has every option available in 92 except t-tops and 1LE.

The wheels are Centerline Retro 18x8f 18x9.5r. The seats came out of a 2002 WS6 Trans Am. Let me know what you guys think!

Re: New Wheels and Seats

Car looks good! You need to lower it or add some little bit bigger tires. What size tires do you have on there now?

Lowering the car is next on the list. I can't decide if i want to do springs or airbags
The tires are 245/40zr18f and 275/35zr18r.

if you want to still be able to corner, go with springs, also if you get bags make sure to reinforce the rear strut mounts

Re: New Wheels and Seats

Love the looks of the wheels, but I don't personally like anything over 17.
Lowering it will help the looks a ton though.
Seats look comfy!

Re: New Wheels and Seats

some 45 series sidewall height would make the rims looks better, besides the fact that your prone to busting a few tires with how heavy the car is, like the rims and a 1" or so drop would help

Re: New Wheels and Seats

agree with above tires need more profile.. a 255/40/17 up front with a 275-4017 out back would look much nicer and protect those beautiful wheels more....

Sorry I haven't been responding guys. Life for me right now is very busy. I just got a married and I just got a promotion at work that has me buried in paperwork and geting home late. I will get better pics later. Since I last posted i've started installing a 2002 firebird manual console.

Re: New Wheels and Seats

correction 255 45 18 front and 275 40 18 rear would look best and if you plan on having a fast car i wouldnt put bags in because with bags comes more bracing, a tank and compressors which as we all know adds weight and weight is bad
