c4 sawblades. 2" spacers on all four but might go a little thicker up front if i decide to keep these wheels, unfortunately cut springs up front (getting new springs), touring tech rear springs. its a v6 right now and going turbo LS so dont want to order springs yet.

I like how the rear sits. Just the right height. Any more info on these springs? How much is the drop? How do they ride? Did you install the fronts before cutting the stocks or did you only order the rears?

i bought these cause i messed up the fronts when i cut them and they were cheap. i just wanted the car lowered and didnt want to buy v6 springs since its gonna go v8. the rears are what comes with that kit and are not cut. when i put the fronts in it actually made the wheel gap almost 6 inches when i put it on the ground. saw a bunch of videos on cutting springs and they said to lower the car 2 inches you need to cut 1 inch of height off the spring. so thats what i did. it was a little over 1 coil. well thats pretty much sat the car on the tires up front. i want to try and get coil overs or weight jackers or whatever you call them when i swap it. ive been out of the 3rd gen game for almsot 10 years so im relearning alot of this stuff over again.
C6 Wheels. 18" wheels w/ 2" spacers up front, 19" wheel w/ 2.5 spacer out back. Love them so far. Wish the car sat a bit lower now though.
I absolutely love the look of this car! I am partial to your rims, I see you got the polished ones which is the same as mine. The clear marker lights, painted door handles and guard, if the guard is there. Just a clean modern look...Nice work. I have a set of Voghtland springs for mine but I have not installed them yet.

Reason: Added info
18/19
245/40
275/35
2" spacers up front
2.5" in the rear
Probably could stand to be lowered now
It's been 7 years since I've had this guy out, super excited to get my shine on then burn it off... Return of the Jedi

Love those C4 wheels! Digging the blue color too. What color blue is that? Was that a stock color?

Thanks. Not sure if I love the clear side markers or if i’ll go with a smoked set (to match my DD); door guards are gone. And I absolutely HATE the chrome door handles. They were on the car when I bought it. Hideous.
who has a car like this then leaves it in garage jail for a decade?,
definitely need a good 2-3 " off the front and 1-2 " off the back
minimum.
sweet car,stinkbug stance....
Yeah I couldn't believe it had been that long. Life gets in the way, but I'm just glad I kept it stashed. I had lost interest for a long time (had completed an LSX swap in my Malibu and was just done with the hobby for a while). But my son is coming to love cars so the spark is back!
It is kinda stink-bugish but oh well, I'm really diggin' it so far. Will address the drop over the winter more than likely. Here's another pic after I gave it a bath.

I have the C6 polished aluminum. These are the ones that have the slight "milky" look. I actually like the better than the chrome version of these and I heard these were a $1400 option on the vette.
This vert has the best stance out of all the ones I have seen. It looks perfect like they were made for it! I am looking to do the same setup on a 91' RS vert. How did you get the rears tucked in so far? Can you share what rearend and suspension you are running? I have a Hawks 8.8 rear but not sure if this is more narror or wider than stock.

Thank you, I get alot of compliments on how these wheels look on this car and just like you said alot of them think they are factory wheels.
I have the standard 10 bolt factory rear end with the original springs front and rear. I have some founders suspension parts and KYB AGX shocks and struts. I use 2.5" spacer on the front and 3" on the rear, Front Wheels are 18x9.5 and the rear s are 19x10.5. I use a 275/35 on the rear. Most use a wider tire on the 10.5 wheel, like a 295. The 275 keeps the sidewall from bulging out past the edge of the rim. This allows me to have the wheel closer to the inner fender and keep them tucked up under the fender flare. I will admit there is only maybe a 1/16" clearance on the rear inner well. The front I use a 245/40 so the same applies for the sidewall and there is no rubbing @ full lock. These are the GM wheels so I am not sure the offset. There are alot of knock offs of these wheels so if you are getting a set of those be sure the offset matches the factory originals. I also changed the center caps to chrome and added the red bowtie decal to get rid of the vette logo caps and added the Z28 logo by the valve stem. This completes my factory look of the wheels.

The hawks 8.8 can be ordered in custom widths, so if you ordered it from them check your paper work or call hawks to find what spec. they built it to. If you bought it with the 8.8 previous the owner should know . If all else fails use a tape measure, or just do that first.

I can definitely measure I'm just not sure exactly what my reference points would be? Can you give me any ideas? We don't have the paperwork unfortunately, my dad had the car built in 2014, I don't have any paperwork for the rearend, and Hawks did the entire build. I have tried to get in touch with Bruce for the last week or so with no luck.

Such a nice job Vinny, when I'm done maybe mine will look as nice as yours A few details that I have been able to find on these C6 OEM wheels. The 19" rears are not 10.5" wide they are all 19x10. Here are the specs that I found.
8x8.5 front (GM 9594351) 58mm offset 6.53" Backspace
19x10 rear (GM 9594353) 79mm offset 8.11" Backspace
bore size is 70.3 mm
There was another 19x10 wheel made by GM, it was used on the front of the ZR1 Corvettes with a 20x12" rear. Those 19 front wheels have a 40mm offset though.
Another question. Most of the spacers I have seen have the lip with a 70.5mm bore size. To me this could be a problem with a wheel with a 70.3mm bore. This doesn't seem like the wheel bore would clear the lip? Did you use flat spacers?

There was an additional 19x10 wheel made by GM, but it was used on the front of the ZR1 Corvettes in combination with a 20x12" rear. Those 19 front wheels have a different 40mm offset though.

I have the flat spacers. Thanks for the specs on the wheels, i will save them.
C6 OEM Corvette Wheels 19x10 rears with 285/35/19 Michelin run flats and 18x8.5 fronts with 245/40/18. These are the clear coated aluminum option wheels. Front spacers are 2" and rears are 20mm (3/4") on a Hawks Motorsports 8.8 rear end with BAER 10" disc brakes.
Bump stop mounts had to be cut and grinded, inner fender wells were also beaten into submission. I had an issue with the drivers side bump stop clearing the wheel, no problems when the car is on the ground. I love the wheels and am very happy with the result. Next is to lower the front, fix the curb rash and reclear the wheels.
$400 is a good deal for those. They are going to look great on your car, post some finished pics when you get them swapped. You will need wheel spacers for those. I use 2.5" front and 3" rear. I can't tell from the pic but if those rims have the Vette logo center caps you can get plain chrome ones off Ebay and swap those also. Thanks RaptorDewd for using my car as your inspiration for the wheels you bought, it make me feel good!
