17" 4th gen wheel spacer sizes

I couldn't find a clear answer by searching. What size spacers do i need to put 17" camaro SS rims on my 84 Z28?? I want 275/40-17 tires on them. What width are these rims?

I do beleive the rim width is 9. And everyone told me to run 2" spacers when I did my swap, but I didnt like how fare they were out. I would have to say 1.75 would be the best. I am running 1 1/4 with the 98 ls brake upgrade, so if I am not mistaken the 1.75 is what you need to stock brakes

I ran 2'' spacers on mine and they tucked just fine. As ssean92 said though, they can go "in" a bit more.

Not all 4th gen or Vette rims are the same, so the spacer you need, can vary.

The wheels are off a 99 Camaro SS. So am i to assume 1.75-2.0" is the likely size i will need? That will change if i go to the 13 " corvette brakes i intended to install?
