Those with 10 Spoke SS Wheels, please help me out with a couple fitment questions.
Picked up a set of 10 Spoke SS Wheels for $275 today. I am pretty excited since i have been waiting for a good bit on a local craigslist deal to pop up.
So i have a a couple questions to those of you who are running these wheels as well.
Question 1:
Most everyone i have seen on this site is running 2" spacers with these wheels. If i would like my wheels to tuck just a tad more, could i run a thinner spacer? Maybe a 1.75" or 1.5", thats if there is a company that makes a thinner set thats worth buying. Im asking if i could run a thinner spacer without running the risk of rubbing these wheels on any of the suspension, like the tie rods for example.
Question 2:
I would like to lower the car about 1.5". Any suggestions on tire height that has worked for you guys? Lowering the car 1.5" should take care of some of the wheel well space, so id like to get a tire that isn't super low profile, but also isn't rediculously tall. Just enough to help consume extra wheel well space without rubbing on the fenders.
I know i will have to just play around untill i find a set up i like. But if anyone can point me in the right direction i would much appreciate it.
Thanks,
Chris

tire height should be no more than 26". Stock is 25.7
as for spacers, it depends on what width wheel you bought and its offset.
I would wait until you have ehte wheels. Jack up the car, take a wheel off and place a new rim in the well to the point where you want it to be and measure for a spacer. Keep in mind that the wheel needs to clear when its turns too
