few questions

ok, on craigslist theres a set of cragar S/S wheels 14x7 front and 14x8 rear. Will they fit over the front rotors, and they have 3.25 front and 2.75 rear backspace, they should bold right in right? and they all have cooper pro radials, has anyone had this tire, and street legal? They want 200 for all, is that a good deal

Re: few questions

never seen a 3rd gen with 14's - thought they were all 15's or 16's. I'd think it's look weird with smaller rims - I have 16's and wish I had 18's! don't know about fitting over the brakes.

Re: few questions

yeah. i really want 17s but im in high school and really cant afford tires for 17s. its a no go any way. my dad saw the ad and hes going to buy them for his 79 maro. it came stock with 14s and my dad wants to keep the same size. so now i may buy my cuzs 93 bird v6 parts car. he has the trans am 16s on them, but i got to find out if the dam thing is a posi. He wont let me just buy the wheels. so if i buy the car i can take the whole rear end out of it.

Re: few questions

Just know that - 1992 wheels will have a different offset - you'll need spacers for them.

If taking the entire rear out of the 1993, then the rear wheels will be fine on the 1993 rear, but you'll need 2inch spacer on the front to run the 1993 wheels on your car.
