wheel help

i have a set of slicks on 4th gen wheels.. i want to use these slicks but as everyone knows those 4th gen wheels wont fit on my 3rd gen.. these are 16s and mine a 15.. the back spacing is off by a lot.. i just need help finding a good set of 16 inch wheels what are about the same width as 4th gen wheels that will fit on my 3rd gen so i can put these slicks on.. and info would be great.. and stock wheels would work best i dont want to spend big bucks on aftermarket wheels..

Re: wheel help

Any 3rd gen 16" wheel will fit those tires, so your not restricted to JUST IROC wheels. In fact, the crosslace GTA wheels would be a better choice, sine they are lighter.

You could buy 2" adapters to put those 4th gen wheels on your 3rd gen rear end. Or buy a whole 4th gen rear end, possibly getting better gears & better brakes in the deal, depending on what you have now.

Personally? I'd say get 3rd gen wheels or a 4th gen axle. I'm one of those guys that is against using adapters.
