2010 Camaro Wheels/Tires on a 3rd Gen?
Thought I would post this here about using 2010 stock Camaro wheels and tires on a 3rd Gen. There are some good deals on 2010 18" wheels and tires as a lot of folks are upgrading to the 19's or 20's and these wheels and tires have low miles and are a bargain... $600 for new wheels and tires!! Here's what I've concluded. If anyone thinks this analysis is in error, please chime in...
2010 Camaro Except SS
Bolt Pattern: 5x120 (4.72")
Center Bore: 67mm
Hardware: 14x1.50 Lug
Offset:
Front: 34mm
Rear: 38mm
3rd Gen center bore is 2.788" (70.8mm) and a 4.75" pattern.
It could be done if you ground down the center bore 3.8mm but that's a bit much and I would question the wheels integrity at that point. You would also need to space quite a bit in order to get inner wheel well clearance. You could also not use the stock tire size. It's too tall. You would need to have a 40 or less in order to use 18" wheels for fender clearance. Not sure if this helps anyone but me but it's informational for everyone nonetheless.
