Bead Blasting?
I want to re-finish my camaro rims and i'd really rather find another way to do it than the hand sanding, but if it comes to it, i will.

that project is something i'm looking for as an end result. If i stuck my rims in the blast cabinet, would it help any, hurt them or just be a waste of time?

Re: Bead Blasting?
It depends on the pressure and what type of beads you are shooting at the rims, but if you use glass beads at a low PSI i think you should be fine, just lightly go over the rim and dont stay on one spot for too long or youll start taking away a little metal. But ive beadblasted plenty, are your rims aluminum or steel?
