Hey guys I have a question. I did a search and i couldn't quite find what I was looking for. I want the best gripping NON DRAG RADIAL street tire. I have a pair of Nitto 555r's for my GTA wheels and I love them but I want something for my Snyper's in the tune of 275/40/17. What would you guys recommend? Cost isn't that big of an issue but my biggest concern is grip and longevity. I have a set of Dunlop sport 9000's on them now and they're probably the absolute worst tire I have ever had the misfortune of driving on. They're WAY to hard and even from a 40mph punch i can bust them loose. So what do you guys think I should get?

 

you wont find those two together. grip + softer compound, and less tread life.

goodyear gsd3's are considered by a lot of people the best street tire, have also heard good things about the nitto invo

 

i put 4 of these on my car.they are a soft,sticky compound.(bridgestone/firestone - fuzion zri)
i have them in 245/50/16. they have them in the size your looking for.i had comp t/a's and these are a lot better.

that's wierd I was told they stopped making fuzions I may have to order them because I love mine, and need new tires bad

 

ive run a few different sets of tires before..

the best tire i have even run is the BFG KDW2's.

They got so sticky that i launched the truck (07 tacoma xrunner) and smoked the clutch rather than the tires lol.

 

was gonna say nitto 555r but not DR, would probably be the KDW2s then
