hey guys i have a 91 RS with factory iroc wheels off a 86 was debating on moving up to 17'' wheels since thats about the starting point for most aftermarket wheels. was wondering what exact size of 17'' wheel and spacer for front and rear to maintain stock look.... any help would be great!!!

 

A 17" wheel does not automatically mean you need a spacer. The backspacing (or offset) is what determines the need for a spacer & if your willing to modify the inner fender panel to avoid using a spacer.

I have a set of 17X8 wheels on my 92 with zero offset on all four with no problems whatsoever. Same goes for my 89 with 17X8.5 and 26mm offset on all four. No spacers required on either car.

 

what size tires are u running front and rear on your 92? (Al Hasse)

 

Same size on both cars...

245/45/17 on all four

 

im running the same size tires on 17 inch iroc replicas. i didnt use any spacers adapters or even the factory rear spacers that came on irocs. i have a 1.5 inch drop and have not had any problems with rubbing or contact anywhere in the wheel wells.
