Re: Cheap tires
An 295/40r18 performance tire that is 60 bucks is going to be junk. Period. I have not used those tires so you may not value my opinion, but skimping out on the only part of your vehicle that actually contacts the ground may not be the smartest idea. God look at that treadwear, 200!!! And it doesn't even get AA traction rating!

Re: Cheap tires
Nice comparison between a street tire and a race tire.....
Yea, of course the Hoosiers have a C traction rating, its tough to stop a race tire on WET asphalt/concrete.
And what does the founder of Goodyear have to do with a Japanese made tire?
This thread is confusing me, I'm staying out of it.......

Re: Cheap tires
Even on quote high priced tires, and reg pass car tires, tread wear is often well well well below the warranty for the mileage.
when they wear out, you just warranty them and get a pro rating for the miles driven.
But since its close out, id bet no mileage warranty.
so the 200 tread wear will be all you get, also I bet why so cheap.
no wear or road hazzard.
Fuzion HRI got some decent priced tires with great traction and tread depth.
I got 2 225-60-15s they looks narley in person.

And if you have a problem with the link like I did, just remove the reffer code.
