flat black my wheels?

I have been debating this since i have bought my wheels. I know a guy that does powercoating, and he said he would do my 4 wheels for 100 bucks. I think since i need new tires soon, i should just get them powercoated now. what do you guys think? leave them silver, or powercoated flat black? or any other ideas. thanks!
(and yeah i know it sits high, i just ordered my lowering kit today )

In my opinion, a murdered out car is pretty unattractive. Leave the wheels chrome or aluminum or just something bright.

Re: flat black my wheels?

$100 for all 4 is a STEAL!!! I paid that for just ONE wheel.....

Go Flat Black, but leave the lip silver/polished.
Before

After

The weld seam below is from getting them widened from 9" to 11" wide

Re: flat black my wheels?

thats the those wheels look really good. i thought about doing that as well, leaving the lip silver, and maybe doing the rest semi gloss black. but im still unsure. i think it would look good either way, and everyone i ask an opinion from has a different response. I still got all winter left to decide i guess. thanks for the input!

Totally agree, but I'm not a huge fan of chrome - flakes too easilly in my experience even with proper care and maintenance.

Ive never had a chrome rimmed car.lol
I probably wouldn't either.
I guess in an ideal world where we're all millionaires, we could just replace them when they flake
