just use an socket extension or another bolt that will fit to knock the bolt out.. then put the new stud in and use a nut or open lugnut that fits it and tighten it down untill it is all the way in.. i do it atleast once a week at work

Front hub? or rear axle flange? Front's hub and rotor have to come off. Then knock out stud with hammer. Then place stud back in. put a couple washers on the front side and use a open ended nut and pull stud back through til flush on backside. Rear is basically the same. But its just on the axle flange...

Oh, thanks very much.

I 'll try this weekend in order to pass local technical & emission test.

My local law says: "Wheels completes, with all bolts & nuts".

If it's the a stud on a front disc setup they're pretty easy. Hammer the old one out and put the new one in and use a lug nut (I prefer open ended for this) and tighten it down to pull the new stud through - Shouldn't take more than 15 minutes.
