Hmmm... my dad had 16x8 AREs on his old 91; they were a polished finish and look just like those. He painted the inserts black. Here's his car with 255/50 rubber on it... it's sitting high in the rear because the springs were just swapped.

They remind me of cheap CCW Classic knock-offs. I prefer CCWs but if I could find a set of these old ARE wheels I'd go for 'em...

No spacers but those were 16x8 and setup for the car. They were purchased back in the early 90s when there was actually some sort of aftermarket specifically for these cars, so I think ARE made them for Camaros/Vettes
Keep in mind they are 16x8 and polished, while the ones you posted are 17" rims with what looks like a chrome center. They may fit differently so don't take that picture I posted as the final word on them... it was just to show you the general look.

Re: Lookin for a pic
oh i know that. i just wanted to see how they look on a car. lovin the look.
the person i might buy them from said that they tried them on their 88 Camaro and it would hit. it didnt seem like they knew much but i still might go and check them out.
i bought (deathmetaltony)'s car and i like the wheels that are on it but the tires are the wrong size. so im debating on either buyin some 17's (which i want) or buying the right size tire.
hmm maybe someone can photoshop the wheels on your dads car onto mine?
