Kelly Tires????
I need a set of fairly cheap tires (under 400 for a set) and they need to be 15's. Kelly has 225/50/15 and 225/60/15 for under $250 a set http://www.kellytires.com/cfmx/web/k...cfm?product=34 Anybody have any experience with these tires??? Any other recomendations in those sizes as they are fairly hard to find???

Re: Kelly Tires????
Personally, I wouldn't buy a set of Kelly tires..
$248 for this set of Kumho's

I had a set of Firehawk Indy 500's on my old car and I liked them too. If I recall they were about $78 a tire.

Re: Kelly Tires????
I ran these on my 72 Nova, although they were 14" at the time... But even with my tire burning antics I ran them a long time. They rode good enough for me and I never had an issue in rain, snow, sleet, or even mud. Yes I did go muddin' in my Nova.. 245/65/14's on the back and it never let me down. Except in the ice on an old back road hill.. But that girl and I are not talking about that one..

Re: Kelly Tires????
bigjcfiredog- are you talking about the kelly chargers? I like those kumho's but they dont have the 225/60 for the rear. Did some more searching and checked out 215/ 60
s and found these http://www.summitracing.com/parts/GTI-15480520000/ - General Tires
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FAL-28867/ - Falken Tires
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/YOK-10058/ - and Yokohama. Any preferances on these? I would like for them to last at least 30,000 and still grip reasonably well.

Stay away from Kelly tires they came with my car in P235/60ZR15 from a used car dealer. They sucked in the rain but strangely they did ok in the snow.

allright thanks, I think I'm goin with the general tires. They are $88 a piece, look great, and come with a 55,000mile warranty so if they last 40 I'll be happy.

Re: Kelly Tires????
Read some reviews on the general tires and wasnt to wild about them having weak sidewalls. Thinking about indy 500's now or Sumitomo HTR's. Any other options, would like to get a set of 4 for under $400 and I will be doing a couple autocross runs this year and do like to push corners on dry roads. So what do you guys recommend?
