ZR-1 Wheels

Thinking about a set of chrome ZR-1 wheels for my 92 black Z vert. I have seen some cars on here with very wide rear wheels and was wondering if 17x11 rear ZR-1 wheels would fit and if so what size spacer? Also, is it best to just get the SLP ZR-1 wheels and be done since they are made to fit? I see that OEWHEELS sells sets for around $650 on ebay with free shipping. Anyone knowledgable with ZR-1 wheels please give a shout. I have read some post that say go 17x9.5 with 275-40-17 all the way around is really best but is 50mm the best size or 36mm. It's confusing. I think the 88-90 iroc wheel looks best but I want to add c5 brakes so I have to change and I love chrome wheels on a black car. Thanks in advance.

Re: ZR-1 Wheels

Im getting ready to do the same thing on my 91. From my understanding with the OE wheels set you want to run a 2-2.25 spacer on the front, if you are doing C5 brakes than you will want the 2 inch spacer. For the rear Im going to try a 4th gen rear end out of a 99, but I havnt found a specific answer on what works.

This link might help.
