Need advice on stock Iroc wheels

I bought a 1990 Iroc-z and it is not on stock tires/wheels. I would prefer to have original IROC wheels but I am unsure of what to look for. Did the wheels differ at all from 85-90 for Irocs? Also, how would I know if the wheels are original or manufactured? Thanks! Also, I was wondering if anybody could point me in the direction of decent yet affordable tires to look for? Thanks!

IROC would have had 16" wheels, I think single line. You need 2 fronts, and 2 rears - they are styamped inside the rim - they cannot go on the other way - fronts must be on the front, rears on the rear.

Tires - I like Khumo Esta - under $100 each at tirerack.com 245/50/16.

85-87 IROC single-line wheels are 16's. 88+ double-lines may be either 15's or 16's. As far as I know, no one manufactures OE reproductions.

yup so you have to either get lucky at the junkyard, or keep an eye on craigslist. or ebay for some. I see them for sale often. Im sure you'll be able to locate some. I'd run whatever I find but some people think you should only run earlier ones on earlier cars etc..It's your car do what you want

I'll be selling my spare factory 1990 IROC rims toward the end of the month after I refinish my spare set. If your'e interested let me know, I just sold a rear set on ebay and they cost $35.00 per rim to ship to Idaho. Thanks Tim

The good thing about these rims are if you find a set that are weathered but not badly pitted, they can be resurfaced pritty easy. All you need is some 1500 - 2000 grit wet sand paper, some wd-40, and patience. This will take a long time but they will shine like chrome.
