are these even t/a rims?

my 84 t/a had gold ones......put they look liek they came off a sunbird LOL.
I also noticed the set is "offset" only fronts on front and backs on back.
my question is are they trans am rims and if so what years did they come on,
cause as far as i knew GTA and t/a came with these in black and gold

LoL
The '87 Formula used these wheels as well. True, the 80's Grand Am's and Sunbird's used the same style, but those were only 14" and made for FWD.
There's a video of an '86 Pontiac commercial on YouTube that shows these wheels on a TA.

No. The ones you pictured are the 15" versions similar to the 16" formula concave style. The original one posted are a 16" convex style.

The wheels on that Grand Am are the exact same style, but they're 14".

[quote=80schild;4914738]The 84's were usually white, 85's & 86's were usually gold, and the 87's were silver alum. [quote]
Actually, these were always white in 1984 because they only came on the 15th Anniversary Trans Am that year. The picture shows is actually a 15th Anniversary car.

Those are 16" WS6 rims that came on standard WS6 equipped TA's from 85-92.
If it was a GTA, then the it got the cross-laced GTA wheels, and these GTA wheels were optional on other WS6 TA's.
