Widest tire I can run???

Hey guys, im keeping this one real simple, 83 Camaro, got a set of Cragar Street Pros. theyre 15's. What's the widest tire that I can run without any clearance issues. The rims are 8 inch wide wheels. I can get a set of BF Radial Ta's either 255/60 or 275/ 60 for the same price but am not sure if the 275/60s will clear with zero issues! The car is very clean and I don't want it to look goofy. My current wheel/tire set up are staggered 17x10 and 18x10 Corvette wheels with Eagle F1 run flats 275/40 in the rear. I love the way the wide tires look but I'm not sure if I can run such a wide tire on my Cragars with no rub. Vette wheels are very very deep with no rub. ANY INPUT WOULD BE AWESOME! I need to get tires within the next couple weeks! Pictures would also be much appreciated of your tire set up!

Thanks guys!

What fits will depend on the backspacing. If it's 4.5" including the lip, then 255s might be okay up front, I'm not sure. If it's 4", then use a 235/60R15. That one I do know. That barely cleared.
If you have 1LE brakes, that changes things. Then a 4.5" BS with a 235, I think.
