Seperating tread almost killed me.
Yep, Just as the title states, Was going down Highway 152 out here in Mustang today, Was doing 45 and I started to notice a very very slight vibration in the left rear, I figured it was the road cause I was slightly out of the "rut" of the road. So I accelerate to pass a dump truck, and right as I get withing frontal passing distance I hear a horrible sound, ( TING TING TING TTIINNGG CLUMP CLUMP PSSHHH) The left read end drops and the rear end slides to the right I threw the wheel to the right to try and correct it, I manage to save it but in doing so I overcorrect(which is my biggest thing) and spin out, the rear end is now facing the direction I was going and now theres a damned dump truck heading right for me, I was still doing about 25 going backwards, so I once again threw the wheel to the left again to attempt to get the hell out of the path of the dump truck, The car slid backwards over a curb (thank god for high riding camaros) past a dually and into some guys backyard, who THANK GOD just happenned to be doing fence work and was missing a big portion of fence.

Glad your OK,
I know first hand how scary it can be losing control at those speeds on the highway.
I had a hood fly open on the highway doing 60mph. (ford truck) .I have hood pins in the Camaro ,gives me piece of mind.
What brand tire was it? Did it have a lot of miles on it?
