Hub Cap Help

I have the aluminum 16" 5 spoke wheels from 91-92 on my camaro, but they are missing the center caps. So I ordered a used set of 4 on ebay and turns out they don't snap in they are the correct outer diameter but the snap tabs diameter is smaller than the inner diameters of the rims. I hope the pictures help describe better. Did I get the wrong center caps or are my rims a bit different, or am I just missing something. Are they s10 center caps possible? What should I look for?

Re: Hub Cap Help

As far as I know, that is the one, and it should fit. They don't 'snap' in easy - it takes a tad of "convincing" to get them in - I make a fist and just hit it with the heel of my fist to get them in.

If it helps any for future reference, they were also on the 1993 - 1996 Camaro's - GM might still make new ones available from dealer since it's a 4th gen item (as well as a 3rd gen item).

No the diameter of the hub caps are to small they don't snap at all into the rims just set in there, no snap I have to hold them in. The tabs on all of them are just fine, none are broken off either.

I'll take a look at one of mine tomorrow and get back with you - maybe there's a metal ring that goes on the caps that 'snaps' into the wheel? (I don't remember)

Re: Hub Cap Help

the approximate diameter of my hub caps are 6". Does anybody who's fits have a measurement, I suppose if I have the wrong hub caps yours is likely about 6.5" or so? thanks
