Need help on picking rims

I love the rims on my car,but im craving new ones. Im 16 with a job that makes minimum wage, and i work about 6 hours each shift. About 3-4 days a week. Heres the deal, been restoring my car for a year now, didnt get the good grades,no permission to drive my car. So now i got until first report card (October) to do some appearance details to my Trans Am. The chrome part of my rims have major Wear and tear from sitting for 10 years. I dont really feel like dipping them if i can just get new rims for the same price. I absolutely LOVE the look of the chrome on black. The past few months ive been dying for some of those American Racing Torque Thrust rims, but they would cost 750 bucks for a full set, without new tires (Because the smallest size for them is a 17 inch)
Can someone show me some ideas of different rims that MIGHT keep the chrome on black look going? They dont have to be,just show me some rims that you believe would look good on my car. Thanks! Ill post a pic of the oxidization on my rims. Also, yes ive sanded, yes ive done every method of removing this, its smooth as hell but ya know

Thanks for the help guys

Jegs has a little Rim/Wheel Java App. http://www.jegs.com/c/Wheels-Tires/10573/10002/-1

It lets you pick your car model, paint color, and swap tires and rims around. That should get you a basic idea.

some time and effort invested and you can refinish the wheels you have for under 100 bux, including paint, and have money left over for other things.

keep in mind, if you buy a wheel thats larger in diameter, you need tires too, for that matter, if the current tires are old, you still need tires, so account for that price too.

or you can buy any rim you want and paint the center black, to keep the theme.

whats the budget?

I refinished my wheels a while ago with the same theme. To get the come ring I started at around 2 or 300 grit and finished out with around 2000 grit. Occasionally you can use metal polish to keep it looking nice. As for the black if it looks nice leave it alone other wise try to sand with around 180 of 220 the best you can. Buy a can of acid etch primer spray with a nice even coat. You can get maps to mix paint or you can go to the parts store and get payable paint from the can for 30 or so a pint. You can clear the whole wheel or you can (like I did) just clear the black
