Oven Cleaner on Alumin Rims
My wife decided to put oven cleaner on her rims to try and clean the caked on brake dust, she left it on too long and now the clear coat turned white in some places. but from a distance they shine real nice lol
any recomondations on how to remove to get them back to normal.

wife should have known!!!! Easy off will seriously pit & etch into aluminum
get the rest of the clear coat off steel wool and re-clear
PS can says DO Not Use on Aluminum!!!!!!!

My wife filled the radiator with water one day. Only it wasn't the radiator. And it took more water than she thought it would.

She removed the oil fill cap and filled the engine with water. While it was running. Amazing it didn't kill the engine. Engine started idling rough so she shut it off. Fortunately two back to back oil changes and we put another 20K uneventful miles on the car. I've never seen oil the color of light chocoloate milk until then...

Like... I was breaking in a rebuilt engine at 2200rpm when I noticed the fresh paint on the water pump melting off. What? Why would dry paint be melting? Well if the fuel line had been worn through by the fan belt and the belt picked up and flung a mist of fuel all over the place that might explain it. Hmmm.
