C5 rims
Hey guys, I recently acquired a set of C5 rims that aren't in the best of shape. My plan is to try to refinish them myself, but I don't know if they are chrome or polished aluminum. I suppose my question is does it matter? I plan to do so following the guidelines here ==> http://www.gmtips.com/3rd-degree/dox.../info/info.htm
BTW, these are the rims I am working with
(not the actual rims, but this style)

Re: C5 rims
it may not be the only way to tell, but if the rims are in rough shape, they would be flaking if they're chrome, polished will not

Just check up if the stock C5 Wheels are chrome or aluminum.
17in C5 Deepdish rims are what I'll be running on my camaro. LOVE, how they look!
