Torq Thrust M Fitment
Hey guys. I'm going to be grabbing some new rims and tires here soon and was wondering on what specs I should go with for the rims.
Looks like I'll be going with the Torq Thrust M's with the black center and polished lip.
I was wanting to do 17x8 in the front and 17x10.5 in the rear, but I know that width for the rear could be problematic. Has anyone here successfully fit a 10.5 rim on a thirdgen without doing any major modifications? I want to get 245 width tires for the front and 275 width for the rear.
For the front, I was wondering what backspacing I should go with for a 17x8 rim and the same for the rear with a 17x10.5.
I was wanting to keep the rims tucked with stock appearance. For the front, a stock tuck is the only way I'll roll. For the rear, I don't mind the tires sticking out a tad bit (I actually prefer this look) farther than stock, so long as they are LEVEL with the wheelwell at most. Currently I have 275 tires mounted to stock rims and the tread comes out a little farther than stock but the top of the tire does not protrude past the body. I think it looks so sloppy and unprofessional when your tires come outside of the wheelwell and this is what I don't want.
What backspacing would I need to make this all work?

Re: Torq Thrust M Fitment
I have those wheels on my car. Mine are 17x9.5 on the front and back, and I have 275 tires on all four courners. I found my wheels in a junkyard on a fourth gen so I had to buy spacers but since I only paid 300 for the wheels and tires I was willing to pay for the spacers. My wheels are tuckeld the fenders like my 16 inch iroc wheels were.

did you ever get these wheels? considering the same setup, and have a 4th gen rear to swap in as well.
