tire size? HELP!!

tire size? HELP!!
need some help, i purchased the 18" iroc wheels and since they ony come in 8" i need to know what the widest tire i can put on the rear wheels is. im swapping in a 383 so i would like to have some decent rubber back there. also does anyone know how much it may be to have the rear wheels widened? thanks in advance

i know if i did some research on here i could probaby find out, but i am currently in afghanistan and have sort of a time issue, any help is greatly appriciated.

Typical widening cost is $200 per wheel, up to 3". IIRC, you can save $50 each by supplying a donor wheel for them to cut the inner section from.
They can provide you a quote via email, so your location won't matter for that.

Depends on your definition of "tubbing". I fit 11" wheels with only some cutting with a 3.5" grinder & hammering with a mini-sledgehammer. And they fit completely under the fender lip.
