Please help, i cant FIGURE IT OUT!

i have a '84 camaro, with a 4th gen rearend.

And i need some new wheels/rims.

If seen some very nice wheels : 18x8 .

i think im gonna use 225 or 235 in the front
and 255 or 275 in the rear.

My question is: what offset do i need with a 4th gen rearend and 18x8 rims?
I like it to have the rims sit flush with the fenders in the rear, in front i dont mind if it sits a bit inside the fenders.

i thank you in advance.

your not going to be able to get much more than a 245/40/18 on a 18x8 wheel, it will fit the front just fine with 4.5" of BS, no point going smaller.

For the rear, i dont have the 4th gen wheels specs handy, but use the same offset as the stock 16x8. If we assume you would need a 2" spacer to use the 4th gen wheel on a 3rd gen axle, that i would assume you would need a 8" wheel with 6.5" of BS to fit the 4th gen rear, since they are about 2" wider on each side than a 3rd gen rear. That will fit the car nicely

I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, but I have squeezed 275's on an 8 inch rim. The sidewall bulges a bit but other than that it is just a pain in the *** to get them on.
