Buy the spacers. Take your wheels off. Put the spacers on. Put your wheels back on.

If you want the wider stance, get a 4th gen rear end. You'll get the wider stance plus upgraded brakes (depending on what you have no), "posi" if you don't now & possibly a better posi than what you have now (depending on which 4th gen rear you get).
