How would I go about putting spacers in my 88 Camaro???

Buy the spacers. Take your wheels off. Put the spacers on. Put your wheels back on.

Now the question is....Why do you want any? Buy the right wheels & you won't need any.

its that easy? im a noob at these haha. i really like my stock rims and want the stance a bit wider honestly.

Where would I find them for a relatively good price?

If you want the wider stance, get a 4th gen rear end. You'll get the wider stance plus upgraded brakes (depending on what you have no), "posi" if you don't now & possibly a better posi than what you have now (depending on which 4th gen rear you get).
