Rim Restoration

Ok, I have an 86 T/A with the 15 inch aluminum wheels that were pretty common like the Formula rims. They are kind of in rough shape with some light scratches and the clear coat is starting to flake. What could I do to make them look good again???

Re: Rim Restoration

Hi There! I also have a 86 TA with 16 inch aluminum factory rims. The clear coat has turned yellow so they look bad. I have striped off the clear coat with paint stripper and used mothers Aluminum polish to shine them up. They look great. Takes awhile but is well worth it. Email me and I will send you a pic before and after. Cheers Bro
