g-Force Sport COMP-2 - new tires in 245-50-16!
Haven't seen it mentioned here yet - BFG is releasing a new line of Gforce Sport tires known as the COMP-2, and they will come in 245-50-16.
They look more or less like a standard GForce Sport (same tread pattern) but the moldings and rubber compound are both supposedly new.
BFG claims:
30% better wet grip
8% better dry grip
40% more rigid structure due to stiffer sidewalls/belts
Certainly not a tire to kill all others, but I'm hoping it will best the firestone firehawk wide oval 500, even if it doesn't quite approach the F1 GS D3.
