please help

ok guys i did read the stickies and um ya some of us just are not that mechanically inclined and don't understand everything we read. please some one throw me a bone and help me figure out what rims i can buy that will fit. offset, width, size etc.

so i bought some rims/tires off a guy who totaled his 99 camaro. i also purchased his rear end and front brakes. so i have a 99 camaro ss rear end and ls1 brake set up(fronts as well). with rims and tires that fit his car.

one the rims needs some major work. i can get it fixed but between getting that one fixed and the other refurbished i will have spent enough money to buy a whole new set. so my question is what size rims can i use?

I'm keeping the tires off my rims since there almost new. the sizes are
245/40/r18 97h
275/35/r18 95h

when i measured the rims they look to be 10.5 rear and 9.0 fronts

Re: please help

245/40 will fit on an 8"-9.5" wide rim
275/35 -------------- 9"-11" ----------

Re: please help

your tires will be at home on 8" fronts and 9.5 rears.

FYI, the overall width of the wheel is not the advertised width, the real measurement is taken between the bead seats. So take 1" off the overall width will typically get you in the ballpark. Not sure ho you measured.
