first off i know this has been posted a million times been searching for days and i think i have it figured out. just dont want to spend 1400 and end up with the wrong wheels and tires.

im going for the tires to be in the wheel wells not sticking out. hoping to not have to massage and bfh it. for sure dont want any mods to the inner/outer fender lip as the paint is perfect on the car.

looking to run mickey thompson et street radials 275/60/15 rears
fronts im looking at a skinny set up mickey thompson as well probably the sportsman series.

on the wheels if i understand it correctly with the 275/60/15 i need a 15-8 with 4.5 backspacing to tuck the wheels in the wells. the confusing part is i see a ton about the 5.5 backspacing being the right ones.

the car has 18 inch 2010 rs camaro wheels on it that look real nice but dont hook really at all. got great advice not to mess with 18 inch drag radials just do a 15 inch set up.

just to be sure as well since i really dont want to buy something and it not be right bolt pattern is 5 on 4.75 for our third gens correct.

thanks in advance guys

Re: drag wheel and tire set up
a little more BS will tuck the wheel a bit more. If that tire has a large sidewall bulge, you may want a little more BS. I would think 5" would be enough, 5.5 may be too much on a 8" wheel

Re: drag wheel and tire set up
YES.. 5 on 4.75 "

4.5 back space works for like a 28 12.5 15 ET Street (8" wide rim)
and just about tucks it under upper fender will rub it hitting a bump.

i just did the 6.5 back space 15x10.275 Welds RT-S wheels
with a 29x12.5 15. MT Sportsmen, all tucked under w/ a cross sec of over 13" wide,it stands out and looks better then the everyday 275 60 15. that everbody is bolting on...

a bit more work, but man, it looks Good!
