Tires for 16" wheels
245/50's are fine for the front, but what if I want something a little wider (like about a 275) in the back? do they make a tire (preferably a Z rated tire with directional tread design) that is wider than 245/50/16, but not taller? 255/50/16's are noticeably taller but not noticably wider and therefore suck.

BFG makes a 295/50, but it isn't a z-rated pattern, I believe it is H-rated.

Not anymore. You search tirerack.com. The 295/50R16s are history, because they were priced far too high to sell, nearly $200 each.
