zr1 rims

Hey guys I'm really interested in getting some black zr1 rims for my gta.. I want wide tires on the back... gta wheels are just too small... here are the rims I want http://www.ebay.com/itm/17-9-5-11-Bl...e7e05a&vxp=mtr

Several questions.... first I have a ls1 rear end and that should give me some room to play with...I was wondering with the 11 inch deep dish rims in the back what's the widest tire size I can go without Modding the fenderwell... since the fronts are 9.5 I was thinking about 275/40/17 up front and maybe like 295-305 in the back. With a sidewall of what.... I know I need to get front adapters... thanks for your help

Re: zr1 rims

If you cut the bumpstop bulges, do a litle light hammering near the seatbelt retractors, and roll the inner lips, you can fit a 315/35R17x11 without any visible mods, and you're really not hurting the car. This may require the offset trailing arms with offset bushings, I'm not sure about those. But they exist if you find you need them. What spacers you need up front depends on what brake upgrade you go with.

Re: zr1 rims

Im running polished zr1 17x9.5 front & 17x11 rear, with Grand Sport offset on a stock rearend. Im using 2.25 adapters in front & 2 adapters in the rear. Tires are 275 front & 315 rears with no modifications.
