new tire question
new tire question
i have a 1989 Camaro rs..it has 235/60 15r tires on it but the tires are crazy expensive what's a different size that will fit properly onto the 15 inch rim and what effect will it have? thanks in advance first day in the forums! \m/

If you stick with those wheels that's about it if you stay with the same tire diameter. And you probably should. Look for a set of 16 or 17 inch wheels and the tire selection is much better. Better tires and prices.

Get 235/60/15's and they fit nice and will keep your speedo about dead on. I have them on my RS, the car is very dirty in this pic, but you get the idea

Try Thirdgenranch they usually have sets. Or this board for sale, Craigslist, eBay etc. Junk yards? Just have to do some research.

When I got my car the fronts were new, but I had to buy 2 new rears, I got them at NTB and they were like $273 installed for the 2. IMO the BFG's are worth the money, great tire, love the looks of the solid white letters.
