torq thrust fitment

help.. i have a 91 rs v8 car,, i have the oem 5 star zq8 type wheel, 16 inch on now,, i want to switch to a 16 torq thrust wheel,, do i go with a 16x7 or 16x8 for the same look that i have now,, and my oem wheels say front and rear on the back of the rims,, so what offsets do i need to keep these all the same look it has now??

If you have 16inch tires that are new then you can go 16x8. If you need to get tires also you may want to get a bigger size wheel like 17x8 or 17x9.

Of course they do. All shells have backspacing. For a 16x8 go for around 4.5 or zero offset

I don't think I'm asking the right. Like I've got a guy whose got a set of 17x10's and 17x11's for sale. Would I need to get spacers or whatever to make them fit properly and look good? Sorry for sounding dumb. I'm still learning about these cars.

17x10 is a tight fitment on the front. But again I need to know the specs of the wheels in question in order to give you any answer.
