anyone ever thought of running these wheels?

I see there are some 18x8.5 with ET40 and the 5x120 pattern.

Would the offset work?

thanks in advance guys.

Re: enkei rpf1

1- wrong bolt pattern correct is 5x4.75 or 5x120.7
2- that offset wont work, you want a 0 offset
3- that rim isnt even offered in that size with those specs.

i would consider a different rim

1. 5x120 to 5x120.7 is such a small difference it's negligable

2. I am literally looking at them for sale in that size. you can't explain that.

3. thanks for answering the offset.

Re: enkei rpf1

I think your best bet is the 18x10.5ET15 on 5x4.5 ones and redrilling them for 5x4.75 bolt pattern.

Maybe somebody (Paul?) could get a run of that size/offset made in 5x4.75?

maybe an old listing on the site you are looking at. that size/offset/bolt pattern is not listed on Enkei's size chart on their website (where i based my info from).

http://www.enkei.com/rpf1.shtml#

edit:... my tired eyes didnt see that listing on their guide but looking again.. its there, my bad lol

there is alot of literature on this site 5x120 and 5x4.75 fitment, but there are many cons and NO pros to running that bolt pattern. things like extra stress on the studs, vibrations, lug nuts not seating and loosening themselves are some of the issues. not a great idea, but i do really like the rpf1s

You can redrill the 120mm to a 120.65mm one quite easily - just a elongation of the hole and possibly some wobble lugs.

Unfortunately, we can't get anything like that done. We can get you in touch with a custom wheel manufacturer that can cut anything in any size with any offset and bolt pattern in billet - just expect to pay minimum $1k per wheel.

Eh, They already make the wheel in the right size and offset, it wouldn't hurt to see what their minimum order size would be to get the correct bolt pattern.

Re: enkei rpf1

Depending on the pad design the 4.5 pattern can be altered to a 4.75 with proper machining and a pressed in slug.
