I ordered a set of 18x8.5 +13mm offset IROC replicas. I am thinking of running 255/45r18 all around. It seems like some people are running or used to run these with no problem like Mr. IROCZ (maybe a little BFH action) and others can't get them to fit.

My stock wheels are 15" IROCs with 215/65r15 tires. I will also be putting on Eibach Pro-Kit springs and KYB shocks & struts. I will run spacers as needed to get them flush in the well.

I am ok with the speedo being off and the 1/2" taller ride height will be zapped with lowering springs. I like the way the taller set-up fills the wells.

215/65r15 = 26" tall = reads 60 @ 60 mph = 5.5" sidewall
255/45r18 = 27" tall = reads 60 @ 62 mph = 4.5" sidewall

255/40r18 = 26" tall = reads 60 @ 60 mph = 4" sidewall

It seems a bit odd to me that people will change everything on the car including engine swaps and coilovers but when it comes to overall tire diameter stock is the way to go.

Some of the posts I have been through are over 15 years old so I was hoping there was some new discussion to be had.

Pics would make me happy.
