Staggered Ridlers

Been looking around at some wheels. Came across these. Seem like a pretty good deal. Think 18's are too big? I dont want that "Stuffed 22 wheel well look". From what I've read the back space should fit but It of course depends on what tire I'd run which leads me to the next question. What size rubber would a guy get with these. I lack wheel and tire knowledge when it comes to aftermarket and what will and wont fit.

Thanks

Re: Staggered Ridlers

18" is a great size for the 3rd gens.

What I would do if I was you is to get the 9.5" wheels on all 4 corners - no stagger. This will give you a larger tire up front, better handling, braking, and balance than a staggered arrangement.

The offset/BS will fit the car.

275-35-18 is the tire to get (245-40-18 up front if you stagger).

Will I need a adapter for the hub bore?

Thanks so much for the reply.

Re: Staggered Ridlers

Thinking about these now. Wish I could find some pics of a 3rd gen wearing them.

Re: Staggered Ridlers

kennyglm,

You have a beautiful car.
Nice job.

IMO, certain wheels should always be staggered.
Example would be the TT's, Outlaws, and AR-23's like mine,etc...

The deeper well in the rear with a slightly wider tire gives it that aggressive look I like so much on some cars.

Mine are 15's but the same would apply to 18's.
I have 7in wide front and 8in wide rear but your wheels could possibly go
8in front with 9 or 9.5 rear with the right BS.

Thanks for the reply. Ive decided to order 18x9.5 with 5.25bs on all 4 corners. From all the info ive read that should put the wheels flush with the fenders on all sides. Also, I can rotate tires much easier too.

You both have very nice looking cars too by the way.

I’m looking at doing these wheels also, And debating on the 8” or going up to the 9.5”. How well do the fit in the wheel wells. I’d like them to “tuck” in the wells and not stick out from them. Any pics of your set up??

Re: Staggered Ridlers

They look sweet! Nice cars guys! That might be the wheel that I end up going with in the end.
