17x9 wheels, how will they fit?

Looking at some 17x9's for my 82 trans am. They have 6" of backspacing. Will these fit front and rear without spacers? And what size tires could I run?

Transmission: TKO 600

Axle/Gears: built 4th gen rear with 3.27s

Re: 17x9 wheels, how will they fit?

You will need at least a 1.5" to 1 3/4" spacer with those and run 275-40-17 tires without any issues.
