center cap attachment.

Okay I'm forced to ask a bit of a stupid question. I'm thinking going back to my original 16 inch rims for my 1992 Z8. I've never used them and pulled them out of my deep storage space and they are like brand new. My question is how do the center caps attach? They appear to have 5 notches on the back side that line up with the lugs. I'd like to know how prior to buying any tires.

Plastic tabs on the back of the cap grab the wheel.

Re: center cap attachment.

I thought that so mine must be beat out. Because I can just set them in the rims and they don't snap into place, no grabbing the rim. So they must be shot.
