vette wheels need help
i have a chance to buy a used set c5 painted 2003 rims for a few hunders dollars.
I have 88 gta with factory gold honeycomb rims 16" 245 50 16
now the guy said 17x8.5 front
18x9.5 rear
I know the bolt pattern is the same but what wheel spacers do I use.
please help
ty
I was told 4th gen rims on a 3rd gen are 2inch alum spacers front and back.
Are c5 the same or diff.
I need wider tires on back than 245 I want 275 min on rear I am building a big stroker motor for it atm.

Re: vette wheels need help
245-45-17 up front, 275-35-18 or 275-40-18 on the rear. 275 is too wide for an 8.5" width wheel - 255 would be the max.

Re: vette wheels need help
I have an 86 Iroc and was wondering if anyone has noticed any suspension, steering or tire wear issues with putting the 2" spacers on front and back since it changes how the wheels actually align on the camaro?
