Wheel/Tire Size 91 RS

Hey guys I'm brand new here but I drive a 91 RS and I'm planning on getting new wheels and tires soon. I'm trying to figure out if a set of wheels I found will fit without having to mess with my fenders. Thanks! Here's a pic of the sizes.

Re: Wheel/Tire Size 91 RS

Those rears will stick out a mile. A 15x10 is tricky to fit without modifying something. A 15x8 with 4.5" of backspacing, or zero offset will fit nicely. A 10 with 5.5" of backspacing bolts on, but will stick out a little and may rub the wheel arc over bumps and hard acceleration depending on suspension setup. a 10 with 6" of backspacing requires some inner wheel well work, but will sit nicely under the wheel arc. 6.5" of backspacing is ideal, but requires a lot of cutting.

Would 17x8 fit all around nicely? Or is the 15x8 a better option? And then what tire size would you suggest on either of those? Sorry i'm a bit dumb in the whole wheel and tire area

Re: Wheel/Tire Size 91 RS

Skip everything and go for a 17" x 9.5" wheel (or an 18" x 9.5") and stick a 275 on all 4 corners...

Save your $$$ and just runs the stockers.. mine still work fine to this day.. Zero outlay besides the occasional tire change, just saying.. better to make it handle with Koni's for $$ spent..

Re: Wheel/Tire Size 91 RS

I can name 3 wheels in 17" that direct fit thirdgens with no spacers: CTW Motorsports, Hawrk's GTAs, and the Ronal Firehawk wheels.

You would want around 5.25"BS or 0mm offset to get a 17" x 9.5" wheel to fit.
