Re: Need help choosing slicks
The biggest I've ran is a 28x10.5w slick on 15 inch rims 4.5 back space.
I had to smooth the fender wells a little but not much. Just so it didn't rub when turning on return road.
Now I run 275 60r 15s drag radials out back. On a 10 inch wide rim 5.5 inch backspace. Fit perfect. Pull 1.64 60 foots without any issue at the track.

Re: Need help choosing slicks
yea 26x10s will pretty easy. If its a 15 inch by 8 rim and a 4.5 back space, its great. if its a 10 inch wide rim, a 5.5 is best IMO But make sure to check the clearence in the wheel well as you may still have to pound a little bit in there. Make sure you have a nice gap between the front side of the wheel wells between the slick and fender well. Youll know what im talking about once you get the tires on the car and mounted.
