17 xxr 526

I have a '91 Z28 Camaro, I am looking to buy 17 inch XXR 526 wheels. I am looking to put 17 X 9 on the front and 17 X 10 on the rear. What all do I need to consider when putting these on i.e backspacing etc..? I just bought this car and am not sure of all things to consider at this time. Your guidance is much appreciated.

Re: 17 xxr 526

As far as I know, those only come in 5x100 and 5x114.3 bolt patterns. Our cars are 5x120.65 (very close to BMW 5x120).

You can get some bolt pattern adapters for $150-300 that will allow you to got from 5x120.65 to 5x100 or 5x114.3, but these will space the wheels out at least 20mm, so your overall offset changes.

The 17x10 wheels have +20 offset, so with spacers that will make your rear offset +0, which can fit under the rear fenders, but if you're lowered it will probably require fender rolling (somebody correct me if I'm wrong).

Front fitment is a bit trickier, but I think the 17x9 +35 will fit with the right spacer width.
