Lug nuts not all the way down, racestar darkstar’s.
So I just picked up a new set of Racestar wheels. Im using their lug kit with the appropriate hubcentric ring. I just noticed today that for some weird reason the lug nuts on the driver side wheel stick out more than the passenger side. Both wheels are torqued to 100 ft lbs. Just wondering if anyone else noticed this while running these wheels. Im starting to wonder now if I somehow ended up with two different offsets, even though the boxes showed they are the same 15x10’s with 7.25 backspacing.

its possible the lug seats are bored deeper on one wheel.
Yea I pulled the wheels and re-installed to make sure, they’re both all the way down on the hub. I’ll pull the wheels again and take a look at the depth of the lig seats, thanks.

Pull the wheel off of the car, lay it down and place the lug nuts in the wheel to see if it sets lower. That will tell you if the bore is not as deep. Also, I wonder if you have longer lug studs on one wheel and maybe the studs are bottoming out causing the nuts to stick out.

Pulled the wheels off to get them balanced, you can clearly see one wheel has deeper lug holes than the other. Thats weird, maybe just because its a cheaper wheel?
